Leigh Genesis return to Hilton Park on Tuesday after playing their last two “home” games at neighbouring UniBond League club Chorley FC’s ground Victory Park.
Genesis, whose move to their new ground at Leigh Sports Village has been delayed until November, were dealt another blow when Hilton Park was deemed to have an unfit surface for football.
Friends of the club have rallied, however, and emergency treatment has brought the pitch up to a level acceptable to the league.
Steve Blesdale’s side will be desperate to return to winning ways after one of the pre-season title favourites lost 2-1 against Worksop Town at the weekend – their third defeat in five games.
Admission is adults £8, concessions £5 and £2 for under-18s.
