A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash between two buses this morning, Wednesday.
The crash, involving two Bee Network buses, happened on Bury Road in Breightmet at around 9.20am.
North West Ambulance Service confirmed a woman in her 40s was taken to hospital following the collision.
Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the crash, but an image from the incident shows the front end of a single decker bus and the rear of a double decker bus.

A Transport for Greater Manchester spokesperson said: “At around 9.20am on Wednesday, we received reports of a collision between two Bee Network buses on the A58 Bury Road in Breightmet.
“Two passengers were treated at the scene for minor injuries, and we want to wish them a speedy recovery.
“Safety remains our top priority and as such we are naturally concerned about this incident and are working with the operator to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
"We’ve been told that the vehicles were recovered from the scene around 1pm this afternoon."
