A cannabis farm was found at a property last week after a police raid.
On November 28, Bury neighbourhood officers carried out a warrant at an address in Radcliffe and found a large cannabis farm spread over two rooms with very dodgy wiring.

The address was connected to the mains with unprotected wiring running throughout the house, causing a fire risk for the surrounding community.
The address is currently being made safe by officers.

A Bury police spokesperson said: “Agree or disagree, the issues of cannabis farms in residential locations cannot be understated.
“The headaches from nearby residents, the destruction of properties from construction, dampness and the constant threat of fire to adjoining properties means they will never be ignored by Bury South officers.
“Although putting a few baubles on these mini 'trees' would look festive, these particular plants won't be around to see Christmas in.”
