A pensioner is being treated in hospital after a road traffic collision.
The 72-year-old pedestrian had just finishing playing darts in a pub on Thursday (November 21) night when the collision happened.
Christopher Gorman's family say he sustained a broken collar bone, a broken right arm, bleed on the brain, and now requires a right knee replacement following the incident which happened at 11pm.
He is currently in Salford Royal Hospital and the brain bleed has reportedly been successfully treated.
Mr Gorman had finished playing darts at the Gilnow Arms before leaving to walk home.
The collision happened in Fletcher Street, Great Lever.
A spokesperson for the family said: "All of his four children are upset and distraught.
"They were very worried when they found out about what happened.
"Chris doesn't seem himself and is really shaken up after he was hit by the car.
"If anyone has information then please contact the police."
Mr Gorman lives with his son and great-granddaughter."
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "At 11pm on November 21, we were called following reports of a road traffic collision between a pedestrian and a car."
