Tickets go on sale today for a special The Wanted reunion concert in memory of band member Tom Parker, from Bolton.

Bolton School boy Max George and Siva Kaneswaran have reunited to keep The Wanted going and have currently being taking part in an international tour performing in America  and India.

Now as The Wanted 2.0 the two will tour the UK, starting in Manchester, with proceeds going to the Brain Tumour Charity in memory of Tom, who died of the condition.

The concert will take place in the stunning Manchester Cathedral.

Speaking on Lorraine, Max said: "It’s been a long road, over the last few years there have been a lot of changes in our lives which were unexpected and this is just where it has taken us.

“We had so many conversations with the boys, with each other, and the other boys are so happy doing what they are doing.

“And me and Siva were constantly like we just wanted to get out there.”

He added: "At the moment we want to reintroduce ourselves as a live act especially in the UK."

The charity concert will take place on February 27.

Max told the Lorraine show: "For now we are carrying on the legacy of our old songs with a few surprises along the way."

In statement on Instagram, The Wanted 2.0 said: "We are buzzing to announce our very first UK headline show at The Wanted 2.0.

"On February 27, we will perform at the beautiful Manchester Cathedral.

Tickets will be available from 9am on Monday, November 25 from www.thewanted.com and www.skiddle.com"

Tom Parker died in 2022 aged just 33.
