We've rounded up a number of Bolton cases heard by magistrates recently - read on to find out who's been in the dock.
Household waste
A man was fined after dropping four black plastic bags of household waste and a double bed mattress around the back of a street in Bolton.
Istvan Porge, 54, admitted to Bolton Magistrates Court that he had dropped the rubbish on April 4 2023.
He changed his plea to guilty after first pleading not guilty.
Porge, of Castle Street, Bolton was ordered to pay £509.
Assault
A man was ordered to pay after a racially aggravated assault in Bolton town centre.
Connor Tither, 28, pleaded not guilty to assaulting the man on September 9 2023.
But he was found guilty of racially/religiously aggravated common assault/beating at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court.
Tither, of Bolton Road, Farnworth was fined £865, ordered to pay costs of £650 and a surcharge of £346.
Identity of driver
A man failed to identify a driver when ordered to by the police.
Mohammed Bakhat, 38, was found guilty by single justice procedure at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court of failing to identify the driver of a Mercedes Vito on May 7 2024.
The driver was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
Bakhat, of Bolton Road, Farnworth, was ordered to pay a total of £1014 and given six points on his driving licence.
Insurance and licence
A man was fined after driving without insurance and without a proper licence.
Patrick Walsh, 42, was found guilty by single justice procedure at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court of driving without insurance on Victory Road, Bolton on March 3 2024.
That same day he had also been driving without a proper licence.
Walsh, of Moss Bank Way, Bolton, was ordered to pay a total of £1014.
Identity
A man was fined after failing to give the identity of a driver to police.
Tamas Csaszar was found guilty by single justice procedure at Manchester Magistrates Court of failing to identify the identity of an Audi driver on June 17 2024.
The driver was alleged to have been involved in an offence.
Csaszar, of Glenbrook Gardens, Farnworth was ordered to pay a total of £1014.
