A Horwich GP surgery is up for a conversion into a four-bed house according to an application up for consideration by the council.
The applicant, Peter Wu, applied for a change of use for what was the Market Surgery on Mottram Street around two weeks ago.
The Horwich GP surgery moved out of the old site a matter of months ago and moved into a new site at Horwich Health Hub alongside another GP surgery, Pike View, and a number of other services by Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.
Now the old site is up for a conversion into a four-bed house with four ensuite bedrooms on the first floor and a kitchen area and a living area on the ground floor as well as a garden and a garage.
The application said: "A change of use from an NHS surgery to a dwellinghouse. This includes internal changes and external changes to the front to form a bay window and a brick boundary wall."

Horwich Health Hub is complete but its car park is not complete with work continuing at a cost of around £1 million after the approval of further funding.
The developer is United Healthcare Developments Ltd (UHDL) but, as a result of an agreement with the council, it is the local authority which is responsible for some of the parking spaces to be used by Horwich Health Hub as well as its next-door neighbour Horwich Leisure Centre.
The local authority approved a budget of around £850,000 for these parking spaces.
However the car park looks likely to cost around £1 million in an increase of around 15 per cent as the access road between Horwich Health Hub and Horwich Leisure Centre is not fit for purpose.
Akhtar Zaman, the cabinet member for regeneration, approved further funding at a meeting on September 10 in the face of questioning from David Grant, the leader of Horwich and Blackrod First.
