A rural route has been closed due to stranded vehicles, police have said.
Offices said they were currently at the scene of the road closure on Rivington Road, in Belmont.
A police spokesperson said: "The road is closed due to stranded vehicles due to the weather conditions and we anticipate this will be closed for some time.
"Please remember to drive to the conditions and allow plenty of time for your journey.
"We’ll provide an update once cleared and thank you in advance for your patience."
An earlier incident on Barden Lane, Burnley has been resolved and the road is now open.
