Peter Kay says he will be auctioning off the gold toilet seen in his ad shown during the launch episode of I’m a Celebrity.
Appearing on Zoe Ball’s Breakfast Show this morning, the comedian was responding to a question from a listener asking if he still has it.
The Bolton-born comedian said: “Yeah, I’m gonna auction that for some charity.”
Zoe Ball, reading out the listener’s message, said: “We’d love it – we host the loo of the year awards.”
“I’m on about a real charity – not loo of the year!” Kay replied.
Kay announced during the advert that he would be adding a number of extra shows to his record-breaking Peter Kay Live tour, including two in Manchester next year.
Kay said: “Nevermind Coldplay at Wembley or Oasis – I’m doing Isle of Man!
“They can just get some more chairs, I think they’ve sent for chairs from the mainland – emergency chairs to the Isle of Man.”

He has already broken records on his tour, which started back in December 2022, by selling out 45 dates at London’s O2 Arena, the only performer to do so in the world.
He also performed a record 100 shows at the Manchester AO Arena.
Kay will also be appearing in the upcoming Wallace and Gromit Christmas movie Vengeance Most Foul – the franchise’s first feature film in 19 years.
He said: “I can’t say anything about it because it’s all so bloody secretive.
“I’m in Wallace and Gromit, the new film, I’ve not seen it yet – they said on Christmas Day, we’re going to watch it.
“So if people want copies of it, I’m doing a car boot on Sunday, on a fire stick.
“I’ve got bleach, batteries and I’ve got Wallace and Gromit and I’ve also got Gladiator 2 and I can get Wicked tonight off a mate of mine but it’s in black and white.
“And people get up and go to the toilet halfway through Wicked but I can get it.
“Sunday morning, I’m there, Fletcher Street, eleven o’clock.
The new dates of Peter Kay’s tour will kick off in February 2025 and finish in February 2026.
Tickets go on sale on Saturday November 23 at 10am.
