Police arrested two people this evening within an hour of issuing a closure order.
The order was placed on an address on Ellesmere Walk, Farnworth this evening, Tuesday.
The order "prohibits any persons other than the sole occupant of the address being present at any time".
However, officers say that within an hour of serving the notice, they found people at the address who were "prohibited" from being there.
A man, 44, and a woman, 40, have been arrested on suspicion of breaching a closure notice and remain in custody.

A spokesperson for GMP Bolton said: "This evening, PC Holt of the Farnworth Neighbourhood Team has served a closure notice at an address on Ellesmere Walk.
"This closure notice prohibits any persons other than the sole occupant of the address being present at any time.
"Within an hour of the notice being served, a check at the address found persons present that were prohibited from being within the premises.
"A male, 44, and a female, 40, have been arrested on suspicion of breaching a closure notice. They remain in custody for the appropriate outcome."
