A restaurant owner has described being awarded the title of The Bolton News Best Curry House 2024 as 'wonderful'.
The people of Bolton cast their vote for their favourite place for a curry in the borough.
It was whittled down to 10 worthy restaurants, and we can now reveal that The Pavilion has been voted as The Bolton News' Best Curry House 2024.
The restaurant has been serving up tasty dishes to its keen customer base since 1997, having always been based at its corner location on the Blackburn Road crossroads.
Its growing popularity saw it expand seven years later and can serve food to 100 people at once.

Owner, Abdul Hannan, said: "It is wonderful to have won an award from Bolton.
"Last month we won at the Curry Life Awards, which was our first after 27 years. Suddenly we had that one, and now we have another one, it is a great feeling you know.
"Having a local one is better, to have something from The Bolton News, a local one, is great for us.
"I would like to give a big thank you to the customers who voted for us. Without their votes, we couldn't have done it."

Last month, it won in the "The prize was announced at an event on Sunday, October 13 at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square in Mayfair.
The Pavilion offers guests authentic Indian cuisine with a contemporary twist including a variety of Tandoori specialities, including lamb tikka, chicken tikka both lightly spiced with herbs and barbecued over flaming charcoal, chicken Indiana which is marinated in yogurt with mint and mustard.
There is also a selection of Biryani dishes on offer with well fried onion cooked with basmati rice and a little spice, dressed in an omelette, tomatoes on top and mixed vegetable curry.
