A charity ball in Manchester has raised more than £1.2 million.
The sixth Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball recently took place and raised £1,204,488.78.
The event, which is held annually, raises money for children's and youth charities across the UK.
Celebrities from the world of sport, TV, and film attended the event including Elizabeth Hurley, Patsy Kensit, Bryan Robson, and Christopher Biggins.
There was also a performance from Tony and Grammy-winning singer and actor Alfie Boe OBE, who sang Bring Him Home.
Lulu, who performed at the first Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball in 2018, also returned as this year's headline act.
Michael Josephson MBE, who in July received an Honorary Doctorate in Social Science from the University of Bolton for his charitable work, said: "The Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball is all about raising funds to support the fantastic work our beneficiary charities undertake to give children in the northwest and across the UK the best start in life.
"I want to thank everyone who has donated, pledged, and bid in our silent and grand auctions and helped us to raise an incredible £1,204,488.78.
"Every year I am blown away by the generosity of the celebrities and guests who support the ball, and tonight is no different.
"I’ve seen firsthand just how much the money we’ve raised can impact the charities that we help.
"I am so proud of what we’ve achieved this evening."
This year, the money raised will support five main charities; Variety, the Children’s Charity, Mahdlo Youth Zone, Seashell Trust, The Anne Frank Trust, and Rainbow Trust.
All of these charities work with children and young people in need of support.
Some of the money raised from the evening will also be given to smaller local children’s and youth charities via a grants process.
As well as raising money for charity, the event also gives people the chance to win prizes in a silent auction.
The event is organised by Julie Perry Events and supported by headline sponsor, global property investment specialists, Knight Knox.
