A Bolton company has raised £1,200 for the Fire Fighters Charity.

Brooklin Claims Consultants, along with their business associates, climbed Scafell Pike as part of a series of fundraising events.

The climb of England's highest mountain, completed in September, raised the funds via JustGiving.

This achievement placed them in the top 10 per cent of fundraisers on the platform for the month.

Managing director Stefanie Thwaite said: "We would like to thank those who made such generous donations.

"We were delighted to raise £1,200 for the Fire Fighters Charity.

"It was a tough day but for an extremely worthy cause close to our hearts.

"We know it will go towards providing much-needed services for our firefighters past and present and their families."

The company became an official partner of the Fire Fighters Charity earlier this year.
