Aldi is inviting Greater Manchester customers to nominate local charities, community groups, and food banks for a share of its winter fund.
The supermarket chain's winter fund will see £10,000 being given to charities nationwide to help communities in the run-up to Christmas.
A panel of Aldi representatives will review the nominations, with the selected charities receiving cash donations to help alleviate increased demand during winter.
Shoppers can submit nominations by emailing aldiwinterfund@citypress.co.uk, providing the organisation's name, location, and a brief explanation of why they should win.
Liz Fox, the national sustainability director at Aldi UK, said: "The winter period can be an incredibly challenging time for many people across the country and we are committed to doing everything we can to support those in need.
"We hope our shoppers can help us identify charities that could benefit from this donation to continue the incredible work that they do to help their local communities."
The nomination period begins on November 11 and closes on November 24.
Additionally, customers can donate food to local charities, food banks, and community groups at Aldi's community donation points nationwide.
