A rail company has again issued a 'do not travel' warning for this weekend.
Northern has given the warning to passengers for this Sunday, November 10.
It cites "train crew availability" and the taking place of "major engineering works" as reasons for the warning.
The train company is advising their customers don't travel specifically on four routes:
Manchester Piccadilly – Stoke-on-Trent (and Macclesfield)
Manchester Piccadilly – Chester (via Altrincham)
Stalybridge – Wigan North Western
Liverpool – Preston
Stations served on the Stalybridge to Wigan North Western route include Westhoughton, Bolton, and Farnworth.
There will also reportedly be no trains running on the Manchester Victoria – Chester line.
Ticket acceptance is in place for TransPennine Express and Transport for Wales trains which serve that route.

A Northern spokesperson said: "Short notice cancellations are expected in the North West on Sunday, November 10 due to train crew availability and major engineering works taking place – please check before travelling.
"We strongly advise you to avoid travelling on these routes if you can. There will be no Northern services.
"Although trains by other operators are running, there is major disruption. Please check before you travel."
This comes after other similar notices on recent weekends due to unavailability of train crew.
Those with Northern tickets whose train is cancelled can claim a full refund – and those who are delayed may be entitled to compensation through the company’s ‘delay repay’ scheme, differing depending on the length of delay suffered.
