Maura Jackson, charity leader by day and comedian will be performing at Heaton Cricket Club later this month after entertaining audiences at the Octagon Theatre.

She took to the stage with Me Time, sponsored by Boo Coaching and Consulting, tell anecdotes, jokes and observations of how we use all our spare time to relax.

Tales which had the audiences howling with laughter included a visit to a Turkish bath.

Support acts included fellow Boltonian Oliver Bowler and Britain's Got Talent finalist from 2024 Alex Mitchell.

Maura says she doesn’t take herself too seriously and at the end of the show the audience were on their feet at the end singing karaoke style to a version of ABBAs Fernando, rewritten by Maura.

Her next performance will be at Heaton Cricket Club on November 22.
