Bolton's househunters are able to see inside a set of townhouses for the first time after their completion in the town centre.

These 44 townhouses are among more than 200 properties which are under construction in the area around Moor Lane.

Bolton at Home is responsible for one half of the new-builds but the other half of the new-builds are on sale as of a couple of weeks ago. Agency Reside said three of them are sold already at the time of writing.

They are all three-storey properties with a kitchen area and a living area, a pair of bedrooms with a bathroom on the first floor, and one bedroom with a bathroom on the second floor plus a terrace and a yard.

(Image: Reside) Matthew Peters, the branch manager for Reside, said: "They are a lot bigger and a lot brighter than they seem. The architectural style is unique but some aspects of it are taken from the surroundings so it is not unsympathetic to the surroundings.

"There is a lot of interest including an investor who is interested in a few of them because of their town centre location and because of their transport links. The price point is more for the professional market."

Agency Reside is new to the area after an expansion from its other offices on Deansgate, Manchester and Petersgate, Stockport. The new office is a stone's throw from the townhouses next to Elizabeth Park.

Mr Peters, who as the branch manager is one of a team of two alongside colleague Keely Wright, said their approach is one of connecting with the customers on a one-to-one level and "quality over quantity".

(Image: Reside) Anthony Stankard, the managing director for Reside, said: "Confidence in Bolton is high and there are several large developments that are complete or that are near completion in the coming months. There is an air of ambition about the town and we believe it is the right time for a dedicated branch."
