An authentic Indian restaurant has been revealed as a finalist for the Bolton News Best Curry House Awards 2024.
Spice-Valley, which is located on Dunscar Business Park in Egerton, has been serving loyal customers for 20 years in Bolton and cemented its reputation as a high-quality establishment in terms of food, service and dining experience.
Owner Sanjeev Muttra and part owner Teelesh Bisnauthsing opened the restaurant after noticing a gap in Bolton’s market for authentic Indian food.

It’s no surprise why, as chefs Shashikant Meshram, from Ahmedabad, and Sukanta Behera, from Nagpur, both have experience in some of the top hotels in the world including the Crowne Plaza, DoubleTree by Hilton, and Radisson Hotels.
Sanjeev Muttra said: “We are committed to making Bolton a better place for all, that’s why we also help support the local school and local charities, including Backup North West, which is a charity offering support services for homeless young people in Bolton.
“We’re very excited to be nominated for the Bolton News Best Curry House award and we hope that it will drive more business in the area to drive local economy.”
The opulent restaurant offers a selection of delicious menus, including options for non-vegetarians, vegetarians and vegans. They also offer a three and four course lunch option featuring lighter bites.
A four-course Sunday brunch featuring a scrumptious pre-starter, a sizzling starter, main meal and a delicious dessert is available to guests from £19.99 with a similar children’s option free for ages 11 or under.
Spice-Valley’s mouth-watering main menu includes classic Indian cuisine such as Tikka Masala cooked with yoghurt spices and creamy tomato, bhuna with onions, garlic and tomatoes to give a rich flavour and spicier options for those who can handle heat, such as a chilli-packed jalfrezi and a traditional tomato-based rogan josh.
The restaurant offers set menus per person at £14.99, for two people at £32.99 and for groups of four at £74.99.
