A woman in Halliwell who was wanted on recall to prison has been arrested and transported to custody.
Officers were patrolling the School Hill area of Halliwell on Saturday (October 26) and sighted a “well-known female” who was wanted on recall to prison.
The woman was arrested and transported to custody where she will be taken back to prison.

After leaving custody, further officer enquiries established the driver of the above vehicle was a provisional licence holder and did not have valid insurance to drive the vehicle.
The vehicle was seized under the S165a Road Traffic Act and the driver was summonsed to court for the offences.
