A man has been sentenced following a series of thefts in the Farnworth area and breaching a harassment order.
Timothy Nolan, of no fixed abode, was sentenced to 12 weeks imprisonment on Saturday (October 26) and slapped with a fine of £239 after appearing at Manchester & Salford Magistrates' Court.
In addition, a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order was secured against him by officers of the Bolton South Neighbourhood Team.

This order, which is valid until October 2029, will prohibit Nolan from entering any store on Market Street & Brackley Street in Farnworth, the Co-op in Highfield Road and the JGS Convenience Store on Long Causeway.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Any breaches to this order should be reported to police.
“Criminality will not be tolerated, and the Bolton Neighbourhood Teams are working hard to manage those who are a detriment to the community."
