Police officers are looking for the next of kin of a woman who died in Farnworth

Rachal Naylor was just 45 when she died on Victoria Street on Tuesday, October 22.

Police say there are no suspicious circumstances around Ms Naylor's death.

They are looking to find her next of kin and ask anyone with information to contact them on 0161 856 4687.

A spokesperson for GMP said: "We are appealing for the public’s help to trace the next of kin of Rachal Naylor, 45, who sadly died on Victoria Street in Bolton on October 22.

"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. Contact us on 0161 856 4687 if you have any information."

Police often put out appeals like this to help them trace the relatives of people who have died around the region before establishing a cause of death.

In UK law, there is no legal definition of “next of kin”, but it is usually understood to be the closest relative, whether a partner, parent, child or sibling.

Once the police have the details that they need, they will be passed along to the Coroner’s Office to allow a full cause of death to be established.
