There are expected delays on the M62 this morning due to two traffic incidents.
The westbound exit slip road at Chain Bar is partially blocked due to an obstruction.
There is also a "defect" in the road on the eastbound carriageway of the M62 at Junction 25 (Brighouse).
Emergency repair works are being carried out and the lane closures expected to remain closed throughout the morning.
Motorway cameras show heavy traffic with congestion currently back to junction 23.
National Highways said lane three will be closed throughout the morning "on the M62 eastbound within Junction 25 (Brighouse) due to a carriageway defect".
They advised motorists to allow extra time this morning if travelling through the area.
Yesterday there were huge queues on the M62 were present on the M62 after a car towing a trailer overturned near to Oldham.
