ScottishPower has announced its largest-ever early career intake, with 325 roles available for its 2025 graduate and trainee programmes.
The energy company is offering more than 100 graduate placements and over 200 trainee roles across the UK, including in Scotland, Merseyside, North Wales, and East Anglia.
This comes after ScottishPower revealed plans to double its UK investment to £24 billion by 2028, with more than two-thirds of this funding going into its electricity networks.
The recruits will play a key role in the energy transition, helping ScottishPower deliver its ambitious investment plans.
Jennifer Davies, SP Energy Networks strategic workforce renewals manager, said: "We are excited to kick off our recruitment period for the 2025 graduate intake, which will be our largest to date.
"We are looking to attract over 100 new graduate entrants into our growing business.
"These are truly exciting times ahead as we continue to expand and innovate with fresh talent joining our team."
The positions will be spread across ScottishPower's businesses and offices, including East Anglia, Merseyside, North Wales, and Scotland.
The company is targeting roles in engineering, technology, and project management.
The two-year graduate programme at ScottishPower provides graduates with the skills, training, and confidence to contribute to the electrification of the UK, driving the renewable energy industry towards the UK's Net Zero targets.
Jonathan Naftalin, SP Energy Networks graduate trainee engineer, said: "The graduate programme has given me opportunities to get involved in substantive, high impact projects that affect the future of the UK’s energy infrastructure.
"The structure of the graduate programme has given me exposure to different parts of the business, which has been vital for forging new relationships and developing a broad understanding of how we operate our distribution and transmission businesses."
