Three fire engines from Greater Manchester and Lancashire were called to the plant after reports of a blaze in a commercial building on Walthew House Lane close to 2.00 AM.

The crews spent almost two hours fighting the blaze.

They had to use specialist equipment including a thermal imaging camera to make sure the area was safe.
