A man was taken to hospital after a concern for welfare incident in Bury on Tuesday night.
Police, paramedics and the fire service were sent to Fairy Street at around 10pm.
Ambulance services and rapid response vehicles arrived after the police call and treated the man and he was then taken to hospital.
Police remained in attendance for more than an hour.
A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Services said: “An ambulance and a response vehicle followed a call from police at 10.08pm in response to a concern for welfare.
“We took the patient to hospital.”
