A car has been seized after the driver failed to stop when police spotted it being driven “in an anti-social manner.”

Police officers spotted the car while out on patrol in Leigh over the course of Wednesday October 16.

The driver did not stop but officers later found the car, apparently having been abandoned, and say they found that it had various defects.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “After failing to stop for Police and being seen driving in an anti-social manner in Leigh, the vehicle was later located by patrols.

“When inspecting the vehicle, a number of defects were found along with a warning for previously driving in a similar manner.

“Vehicle seized and driver to be reported for numerous traffic offences.”

An image supplied by officers at the scene shows the car, which appears to be missing various parts, being towed away.
