A new calendar will make you 'screen' with laughter as familiar faces become — well famous faces!

Backup North West have launched their 2025 calendar following the huge success of its 2024 fundraising initiative to support Bolton's young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming so.

This year the theme is TV characters — and the charity calendar features some familiar faces as they have never been seen before.

The town's first citizen, Mayor of Bolton Cllr Andy Morgan and Mayoress Karen Holdsworth star as Worzel Gummidge and Aunt Sally.

Maura Jackson, CEO of Backup North West, said: "These two are always game for a laugh and supportive of the charity sector and Backup.

"Next with their version of The Apprentice you’ll find MPs for Bolton Yasmin Qreshi and Phil Brickell with Leader of the Council Nick Peel another long time supporter of Backup and Cllr Rabiya Jiva."

Maura herself appears as The Vicar of Dibley, who described the venture as a 'labour of love' adding "dressing up and acting silly was all in the name of fundraising"

Every penny raised is for young people who are homeless and in crisis this Christmas.
