Three “beautifully designed” new show homes have been unlocked at a major multimillion pound development over the weekend.

The houses, built by Morris Homes, are found at Rivington Park, part of the £200m Rivington Chase development in Horwich and Blackrod.

This has been a major plan over the last few years to expand the town with new houses and facilities at the old Horwich Loco Works site.

Morris Homes regional sales director Rachel MacCutchan said: “At Rivington Park we are building a delightful new community for people to call home.

“Our architects have designed an exclusive collection of homes that will appeal to a wide range of buyers, from young professionals looking to benefit from the convenient location to young families looking to start their journey in a premium new home and those looking for more space as their family grows.”
