Bolton's Le Mans Crescent has once again been transformed into a film set, with shooting set to get underway for the latest instalment of a hit series - which will star a Downton Abbey star.
Preparations for filming set to take place tomorrow were underway this afternoon, with part of the Crescent transformed to resemble London's famous Tottenham Court Road for The Talamasca.
It is the latest in the series based on Anne Rice's gothic series of novels The Vampire Chronicles.

The series follows the secret society which is responsible for tracking and containing witches, vampires, werewolves and other creatures scattered around the globe.
The series will star Elizabeth McGovern, who will be well-known to UK audiences as Cora Crawley on Downton Abbey, as Helen, a "seasoned veteran of the Talamasca".
She recruits leading character Guy Anatole, played by Aussie actor Nicholas Denton who is best known for his role in the 2022 series Dangerous Liaisons.
Also starring in the series is William Fichtner of Prison Break, Heat and Armageddon fame, as Jasper, a "mysterious American" who is the leader of the London branch of the Talamasca.

Today, October 8, preparations for the filming have been taking place in Bolton town centre.
A building on Howell Croft North has been made over to look like a London tube station, with signage saying "Tottenham Court Road" seen over a doorway.
Workers could be seen on scene, with parking restrictions also in place on the street and on the adjoining Le Mans Crescent for tomorrow, October 9.
One worker confirmed the preparations were for "The Talamasca" and that filming will take place tomorrow.
Filming for the series is taking place across the North West , including Manchester.
The show, which is being created by AMC, is set to come out late next year.
Oscar-nominated John Lee Hancock and Mark Lafferty are serving as writers, co-showrunners and executive producers of the new series. Hancock will also direct.
This is not the first time filming has taken place in Bolton town centre.
The town, which has become known as the 'Hollywood of the North', has played host to big names such as Ewan McGregor, Cillian Murphy, Robert Carlyle, Helena Bonham Carter and more.
Even walking tours have been set up in the town for tourists to visit the places where their favourite shows were shot.
They will be able to walk in the footsteps of Peaky Blinder's Thomas Shelby, Happy Valley's Sgt Catherine Cawood and even Rocky Balboa.
