An application has been submitted for a new restaurant in Bolton town centre.

The new venue, which would be called Lunapark, is proposed for Bradshawgate

Staff at a local business say that works have been ongoing at the premises over the "last two weeks".

The shopfront has a new appearance, with circus-style artwork and font spelling "Lunapark".

The word "Circus" can also be seen written inside.

On Friday, October 4, a licensing request for the premises was submitted to Bolton Council.
