Police acting on intelligence from members of the public raided a house in the Queens Park area of Bolton yesterday (Sunday)

Officers say they found drugs at a property and investigations are continuing.

A spokesman for GMP Bolton said: "Following information provided from members of the public and our partner agencies, a positive drugs warrant has been executed in the Queens Park area of Bolton today.

"A quantity of drugs were found at a residential property and investigations are ongoing.

"If you have any information about drug dealing or other criminal activities taking place in your local area, please contact us on Bee In The Loop, the GMP website, or anonymously to Crimestoppers."

Last week police took part in a day-long operation targeting a range of crimes such as drug-dealing, traffic offences and anti-social behaviour yesterday.

Officers made a total of 30 arrests as they investigated drug supply and criminal damage as as well as providing high-visibility patrols and engaging with the community.

Properties were raided in Farnworth, Horwich and Westhoughton.
