St Aidan’s Mission, Hall i’th’Wood, 1956
At first glance it’s hard to work out whether this building is going up or coming down.
But looking at the cement mixer on the right, we think that building work rather than demolition work was in progress.
The photo is dated February 1956 but we’ve very little information. The caption merely states St Aidan’s Mission, Hall i’th’Wood.
Clearly it wasn’t the biggest of buildings but we wonder if any Looking Back readers remember it. Perhaps you even attended the mission once it was completed.
