A person died despite the efforts of the emergency services in attendance at an address in Bolton.
They attended a property on Smithills Dean Road, near Smithills School, at around 8.50am today.
A police spokesperson said a person died despite the efforts of the emergency services. According to an eyewitness there was a police car, a rapid response car, an ambulance and an air ambulance but the air ambulance left after a loop of the area around the secondary school.
The police spokesperson said there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances at this time.
They told The Bolton News: "It looks like a medical episode".
