Greggs bakery on Knowsley Street has re-opened after a sudden closure this afternoon following "electrical issues".
The popular store suddenly closed at around 2:30pm this afternoon (Friday September 4).
Residents who were inside the store were made to finish their tasty treats on the outside chairs and tables. These were later collected and placed against the store's shutters.
A spokesperson from Greggs said: "We had to close the store due to electrical issues. We are glad to be open again and serving our loyal customers."
