Greater Manchester Police has launched an investigation after a man was assaulted in Little Lever.
Police were called to Elm Road, in Little Lever, at 5.15pm on Thursday, October 3.
The force says a man was assaulted after a car window was smashed on Elm Road. The man was taken to hospital, and his injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing, the force says.

Now, an investigation is underway.
On social media, Little Lever residents noted that Elm Road had been closed off yesterday evening.
A photograph from the scene shows police tape blocking the entrance to Elm Road from Nandywell as a police van is parked across the carriageway further up the road.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “At 5:15pm on Thursday 3 October, we were called to reports of a disturbance at Elm Road in Little Lever.
“Initial enquiries suggest a car window was smashed and the victim in the car was assaulted. He was taken to hospital for further treatment, thankfully his injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
“No arrests have been made and investigation is underway.”
