A Bolton charity is challenging people to take on a 12-week challenge in the lead-up to Christmas.
Fortalice, which helps victims and survivors of domestic abuse, is encouraging people to challenge themselves to change their lifestyle or try something new to raise money.
This could include a weight loss goal, giving up unhealthy habits, taking part in a walking challenge, or training for a race.
Matthew Ramsden, who works at Starts With You, has already lost 10kg in his bid to lose 20kg for Christmas.
Mr Ramsden said: "With Fortalice being Starts with You's chosen charity and me currently struggling with my weight, I wanted to do a challenge which helps us both.
"Initial challenge to lose 20 kilos but this is for a better healthier lifestyle."
Rachel Darne is also taking on the challenge.
She works at Bolton FM and is hoping to raise money for Fortalice.
She also wants to lose weight she has put on since the birth of her son.
Ms Darne said: "I knew if I was to do a weight loss challenge on my own, I wouldn’t complete it unless I was helping others.
"My four means are; eat healthier, exercise when I can, look after my wellbeing and raise money for charity."
The charity is now calling on others to join in and help raise money for the charity.
