A well-known law firm has merged with a leading Legal 500 firm.
Heyman & Co., recognised for its expertise in residential property, wills, and probate, announced the merger with Butcher & Barlow.
The merger with the North West Legal 500 firm, Butcher & Barlow, marks a new chapter for both firms.
From October 1, the Heyman & Co. office on Church Street, Leigh, will be known as 'Butcher & Barlow incorporating Heyman & Co.'
Butcher & Barlow will also retain its Railway Road office, in addition to their other 10 offices across the region.
All current staff at Heyman & Co. will remain with the firm.
Karen Baker, managing partner at Heyman & Co, said: "It is the right time for Heyman & Co to merge with such a well-known and respected law firm like Butcher & Barlow.
"This partnership brings tremendous opportunities for both our clients and staff, and I am confident that by joining forces, we will continue to provide the trusted and expert legal advice that our clients have come to expect, with even more resources and support."
Jonathan Aldersley, senior partner at Butcher & Barlow, said: "This merger represents a significant opportunity for Butcher & Barlow to expand our presence in the region, and we look forward to working with Karen and her team.
"We are eager to integrate their respected expertise in residential property, wills and probate, which complements our existing services.
"Our combined teams will offer even greater value and experience to clients, while maintaining the high standards of personal service they have always enjoyed."
