A new suite of free resources has been launched to support social enterprises.

Bolton Community and Voluntary Services (Bolton CVS) has created these resources to help businesses with a social purpose.

The initiative aims to inspire new businesses and help existing ones grow.

The resources include easy-to-understand videos and PDF explainers about available assistance for social enterprises in Bolton, as well as guides on creating a brand's vision, mission, and values, social accounting, governance, and legal structures.

Bolton CVS is also running a calendar of free training and events at The Bolton Hub, along with regular drop-in support sessions.

They also host 'Proper Good', a programme offering additional enterprise development support and social investment for Bolton's social enterprises.

Lisa Forrest, programme coordinator at Bolton CVS, said: "We are inspiring Bolton, one social enterprise at a time.

"With our new selection of free resources, we're here to help more incredible local businesses flourish so that they can make a real difference in our town."
