A cafe and bar is set to reopen this weekend after a revamp.
The Albert Bar and Cafe will relaunch with a special event on Saturday to showcase its new menu and drinks available at the bar.
This includes draught drinks available including Cruzcampo, Inchs Cider, Guinness and Grand Central IPA, alongside launching new Charcuterie boards.
People who arrive between 1 pm and 2 pm can enjoy live music and a free glass of Prosecco on arrival.
This will be followed by an exclusive Sip and Paint event Between 2 pm and 4:30 pm, finishing with more live music up until closure at 6 pm.
For the “Sip and Paint event” there is no experience needed as guests will be guided step by step by an artist while they are sipping their favourite tipple.
Cllr Nadeem Ayub, Bolton's cabinet menu for culture said:'The work has been completed and we are looking forward to welcoming the public to the relaunched Albert Hall café and bar.
“The relaunch means that the café and bar can better cater to more special events and also some night time events.”
“Everyone should keep their eyes on the website for more exciting events to come.”
The Albert Bar and Café has been a popular location since it successfully launched in November 2022, serving hot and cold drinks, including alcohol and its success resulted in the introduction of a food menu in 2023.
The venue is open to everyone, not just to people attending events at the historic halls, however, ticketholders do get a 10 per cent discount on hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks.
The café and bar already received praise before the official relaunch with the venue receiving a five-star food hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency on the 10th of February.
