Torrential rain brought chaos to roads today with flooding across the town with a number of crashes reported.
Bradshaw Road was closed off by police at around midday after a smash involving a minibus and another vehicle, according to Greater Manchester Police.
A fire engine also attended the scene to make sure any oil spillages from the collision were not of danger to the public.
No serious injuries were reported.
Flooding was reported on the road, particularly near the Bradshaw Meadows estate junction - with works in the pipeline to help alleviate the issue.
Bolton is subject to a yellow weather warning until later this evening.

Bradshaw Meadows resident, Jane Ormrod, said: "It always floods around there, it's not helping that the road is closed further up as well."
The housing estate's only access road was becoming a hazard to drive through.
Ms Ormrod added: "Looks like I'll have to get my boat out to get home from work."
Bradshaw councillor, Jackie Schofield, said: "I believe there has been an incident.
"It's atrocious weather out there, so please just drive carefully and with caution.
"We are looking at infrastructure in that area and there is work being done in the next few weeks to help with flooding."
A spokesperson for Bolton Council said: “All reports of flooding on the roads have been attended to.
“Bradshaw Road is open, but with the weather as it is, there is a lot of surface water on the road, so we do advise people to take extra care and drive to the conditions.”
In Breightmet, Winchester Way was briefly blocked after a crash involving two cars.
Police officers on the scene reported no injuries.
The disruption comes as yellow rain warnings were issued for today and tomorrow (September 30 and October 1).
Heavy rain will be replaced by dry spells across much of the UK in a brief respite before a wet weekend, the Met Office has said.
The rain is expected to cause some flooding and disruption to journey times, and commuters are advised to plan accordingly.
Met Office spokesman Stephen Dixon said a low-pressure system centred on the heart of the UK had brought the strong winds and heavy rain.
