The Live Final to showcase local Talent ‘Stars for a Night’ competition is taking place on Sunday 6th October at The Octagon Theatre, an event for all the family.
The local talent show was launched by charity BACKUP North West in 2023 to find hidden talent in our town and prove that ‘Bolton’s Got Talent’.
After the success of last year, the show returns with 11 acts performing in the main theatre to a live audience and a panel of judges to be crowned this year’s winner.
It will be a fun afternoon for all and BACKUP are hoping to fill the theatre with all proceeds tackling homelessness for 16-25 year olds in Bolton.
CEO Maura Jackson, the host for the event, would love to see the Bolton community come along to support and cheerlead the young and emerging talent across the town.
Ensuring our contestants feel a million dollars.
This years finalists are – Smithills School Rock Band ‘Spud Squad’, Unity Drama Group with singers Becky Demaine, Busker Ella, Freya Shaw, Isabelle Heywood, Kieran Slater, Lizzie Anne Crowther, Olivia Savage, Summer Helme and Guitarist TJ Daubney.
Stagecoach Performing Arts School Bolton will also perform Reggie Rockit Story adaptation – the award-winning tale encouraging children to be themselves by local authors Carl Wheatley and Simon Harthill.
The talent show is facilitated by BACKUP North West, supported by the Bolton News and Bolton FM as media partners. T
