The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning in Bolton as heavy rain is expected to cause some flooding and disruption on Monday.
Approximately 20-40 mm of rain is expected to fall quite widely with a few places seeing up to 60 mm during the course of the day.
Officials warn to prepare for the “flooding of a few homes and businesses” as well as “spray and flooding” on roads which is likely to “make journey times longer” due to heavy rainfall throughout the day.
Bus and train times are also likely to be affected by the weather, with journey times taking longer.
The weather warning is in place from 00.30am until 8pm on Monday, September 30 and is expected to affect northeast Wales and northwest England before easing during the evening.
More information on the yellow weather warning is available via the Met Office website.
