A family restaurant which has been operating in Bolton for 25 years has unveiled its new venue in Bromley Cross.
Nick’s Restaurant officially opened its new venue on Wednesday, September 25 at its new site in Turton Golf Club - with the restaurant fully booked.
And bookings for Saturday and Sunday are also full.
Nick's Restaurant relocated from Horwich to Bromley Cross which he says boasts a beautiful location, easier parking and breath-taking views of the Manchester skyline from the dining room.
Owner Nick Anthony Cullen said: “We’re so excited to finally unveil the new location and invite members of the public inside.
“It’s been in the works for a while, so it feels great to be able to open again and continue selling our much-loved food to customers who have supported us.
“The launch night was successful and despite a few teething problems, we can officially announce that we are back and better than ever.
“The old venue, on New Chorley Road in Horwich wasn’t large enough to meet capacity and we had to turn people away as we were full.
“The new restaurant has a capacity of 85 so we will be able to accommodate more guests. "We’ve put so much effort into decorating the dining room as we want to create an ambient atmosphere for our diners.”
Guests do not have to be a member at the golf club to dine there.
Members of the club who dine at Nicks will receive a discount on drinks.
The modern-European style restaurant has been operating in Bolton for 25 years.
Nick added: “The new menu has been slightly reduced as we are now working from a smaller kitchen.
“However, it will still contain customer favourites, we want to keep serving our most popular dishes to customers.
“Ninety percent of the menu can be adapted to suit gluten free customers, as I’m gluten free myself!”
The venue will continue to serve all its fan favourites including chicken milenaise, fillet beef stroganoff, chicken red Thai curry, half crispy duck, pasta of the day and a selection of steaks.
Nicks also offers vegetarian options such as vegetable stroganoff, grilled paneer with peppercorn sauce, pea and asparagus risotto and a pasta of the day.
Manager Tanya Devonport said: “We’re so excited to showcase the new restaurant location.
“So much hard work has gone into making it look amazing – we’ve had such great customer feedback already and we can’t wait to showcase this some more.”
Dishes are made using fresh, local produce and a selection of weekly ‘specials’ that take inspiration from traditional favourites.
The opening times for Nicks are as follows:
