Do you have a poem you've always wanted to share?
Spoken word poetry lovers unite at Bolton Central Library’s annual open mic event on Thursday (October 3) at 6.00 PM celebrating 30 years of National Poetry Day.
Seasoned performers and first-timers alike are invited to show their talent and connect with other creatives in the community.
This year’s theme for National Poetry Day is "Counting", but other topics are acceptable.
Poets can book a ticket for five minutes’ performance time, though timings may vary slightly if other performers don’t take their full slot.
They asked to avoid strongly political themes, clear partisanship and gratuitous language.
