Occasionally we will turn to Looking Back readers for help in identifying a photo from our archive.
This picture was taken in January 1935 and shows the demolition in progress of what was clearly a former theatre.
Look at the boxes and the ornate decor still visible on the main wall still standing and the steeply rakes floor where the balcony seats once were.
The main auditorium is buried under piles of bricks and rubble and the roof has long gone.
But we have no indication which theatre this might have been. If you have any ideas, do let us know.
