We had such a great response from Looking Back readers to last week’s picture spread showing life in Bolton’s schools 50 years ago that we have decided to return to the classroom.

This week, all the photos were taken at primary schools in and around Bolton in 1984.

So, if you were a primary school pupil 40 years ago you might feature on one of the photographs or recognise someone on one of them.

There certainly appears to have been plenty going on at our local schools with many good causes benefitting from fundraising efforts.
