A finance firm has an "incredibly exciting future" after launching in the borough.
One.funding, which supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the UK, has opened in Middlebrook.
The move is a personal milestone for chief executive Lee Schofield, who grew up in Bolton and worked in Oldham for 18 years.
The company has also strengthened its senior leadership team with new industry experts.
These appointments are expected to help One.funding continue providing flexible and transparent financial solutions for UK SMEs.
The business offers a range of finance options to suit specific business needs.
These include asset finance and working capital. The company provides access to a panel of lenders, ensuring SMEs have multiple options.
With its new Bolton base and an enhanced team, One.funding aims to grow its operations both locally and nationwide.
The company is focused on helping SMEs access the finance they need to succeed and contributing to the economic growth of the Bolton area.
Mr Schofield said: "Bolton has always been home for me, and I’m excited to be building a business here.
"I grew up in Breightmet, and it feels incredible to contribute to the community that shaped me.
"Our new senior leaders bring a depth of knowledge and industry experience that will drive our growth strategy forward.
"They’re here to help us expand our services, develop stronger relationships with our lending partners, and ultimately better serve the businesses we support.
"We believe in giving business owners a multi-choice journey.
"By offering a range of financial solutions, we’re empowering businesses to choose the right path for their growth.
"Our approach is all about transparency and putting the power in the hands of the business owner.
"The future is incredibly exciting. We’re scaling up in Bolton, ready to drive local growth and help businesses across the UK achieve their potential."
