A longstanding family restaurant in Bolton is moving to Bromley Cross this week.
Nick’s Restaurant, which was based at Chorley New Road, Horwich, will officially open to the public on Wednesday 25th September at its new site at Turton Golf Club.
The modern-European style restaurant has been operating in Bolton for 25 years and has proved to be popular with visitors due to its 'eclectic menu'.
Owner Nick Anthony Cullen revealed that the new space will offer customers a better location, easier parking and breath-taking views from the dining room.

The venue will continue to serve all its fan favourites including chicken Fiorentina, vegetable red Thai curry, fillet Rossini, a fresh selection of local seasonal fish and much more.
Dishes are made using fresh, local produce and a selection of weekly ‘specials’ that take inspiration from traditional favourites.
Nick said: “It’s been so difficult to get to this point and it wasn’t easy leaving Horwich, I’ve been here for twenty-five years running the restaurant and making it work.
“We’re lucky that we have a great following of both local and regular customers who have supported us throughout the move.
“We work closely with local suppliers, tradespeople, charities and schools to ensure that the restaurant plays a vital part in the community.
“The same staff will be moving to the new location, everyone’s very excited. Some members of staff have been with us for nine years, so they’re like family.”
Prior to moving to the location on Chorley New Road, Nick’s Restaurant was located on Chorley Old Road for twenty-one years.
He added: “I was contacted by the golf club as they were looking for an on-site restaurant to provide a relaxed golfing opportunity.
“It came at a great time, we were struggling to meet demand at the Chorley New Road location as the restaurant was too small for our increasing visitors.
“We were in talks with them for a while and were delighted to accept the opportunity and get the ball rolling.
“It’s been difficult and there were times I didn’t think I’d be able to save the restaurant, this opportunity has come at the right time.
“We want to celebrate the new site with our customers are delighted to continue serving our Bolton community.”
