Earlier this month, Manchester Airport announced that 11 airlines would be moving to its newly refurbished Terminal 2 and now it has revealed that more than 20 new shops, restaurants and bars will be opening there too.
Passengers travelling through the airport via Terminal 2 will be able to shop at luxury retailers such as Chanel and Pandora as they wait for their flights.
Chanel will open its first standalone airport make-up and skincare boutique while Pandora will open a store and Fever-Tree will open its own bar for those looking to enjoy cocktails before jetting off.
A new market hall-style street food dining experience will also be available with international kitchens and not forgetting high street favourites such as JD Wetherspoon and Greggs.

The Great Northern Market is a 472-seat food hall bringing the best of Manchester’s street food scene to the airport, featuring six international street food kitchens including a Gooey desserts unit and places to enjoy pizza, Mexican food, noodles and more.
The food hall has been created by airport food and drink specialists Airport Retail Enterprises with street food pioneer Dominic Cools-Lartigue.
The offers will rotate regularly in line with food market trends and customer demand.
When will Terminal 2 open more than 20 restaurants, bars and shops?
The 22 new units will be open to passengers next summer at Manchester Airport.
All passengers using Terminal 2 will be able to access its existing range of bars, restaurants and cafes.
Other stores and restaurants set to open include LEGO, WH Smith, Boots and Joe and the Juice.

“Manchester’s food & beverage scene is world class and food market halls have played an integral role in this culture – they offer choice, convenience, speed and the buzz of communal dining at an affordable price.
“We’ve brought together a fabulous team including those behind Manchester icons Gooey and Dominic Cools-Lartigue, the founder of food markets Street Feast and Dalston Yard. We are bringing local suppliers to a fantastic open space which will include murals hand-painted by local artists.
“Airport dining has never looked better and it is our vision that Great Northern Market will rival any high street experience.”
