The garden centre, which is run by Bolton Council, will also be holding its monthly artisan markets taking place on the fourth Sunday of every month from 10am to 3pm with exception to August.

The markets will be held at the garden centre on Sunday 22nd September featuring food, handmade crafts and clothing, thoughtful giftware, demonstrations and so much more.

Among the tasty treats will be a selection of stalls selling homemade cheese, chutney, preserves and honey. Light lunches, breakfasts, desserts, Artisan-Teas and Italian-made Kimbo Coffee will also be available to purchase on the day courtesy of Claude’s Café.

Visitors have been flocking to the locally produced stalls since 2015.

Among the stalls will be some new faces, as well as old favourites creating seasonal goods perfect for Halloween décor or some early Christmas decorations!

Craig said: “Our monthly Artisan Market will return this Sunday after some of our local talented artisans showcased at the exciting Bolton Food Festival last month.

“Because unfortunately not all of these were able to showcase their incredible stalls due to sudden bad weather, they will now get their chance to display at the artisan market.

“So please pop down and support them if you can.”

There are still a couple of spaces left for market stalls and those interested in setting up at the market can contact the garden centre directly.

Future markets will be held on October 27th, November 24th and December 15th.
